Safe Combination Change Services
Whether your old combination isn't secure anymore or you just want fresh control over who can open your safe, Old Glory Locksmith changes combinations on both mechanical dial and electronic keypad locks.
Safe Combination Change Services
A safe combination should only be known by the people who need it. Old Glory Locksmith changes combinations whether you’ve moved into a home or office with a safe already installed, had a staff change, or simply want the security of a code no one else knows. We work on both mechanical dial locks and electronic keypads, and every technician on our team has hands-on training specific to safe mechanisms, not just standard door locks.

Mechanical vs. Electronic Combination Changes
The process depends on your safe's lock type:
Mechanical Dial Locks
Require physically resetting the internal wheel pack to a new combination, which needs the safe to be open and, in most cases, the original combination or a service key.
Electronic Keypad Locks
Usually faster to update, often through a master code or programming mode, without needing to access the internal mechanism at all.
If you're not sure which type your safe has, describe it when you call and we'll tell you what to expect before we come out.
How the Process Works
We give you a free estimate before any work starts, based on your safe’s lock type and condition. Our technician arrives at the scheduled time, changes the combination, and walks you through the new code before we consider the job done. We don’t leave until you’ve confirmed it works.
Why Choose Us
Our team has years of hands-on experience specifically with safe combination changes, not just general locksmith work. At Old Glory Locksmith, we work to make security something you don’t have to think twice about, whether that’s a home safe, a business vault, or a firearm safe. We provide the same customized service whether it’s your first combination change or your fifth.
When to Change Your Safe's Combination
A combination change is worth doing whenever:
-
You've moved into a home or business with a safe already in place
-
An employee, contractor, or tenant who knew the code no longer should
-
You suspect someone attempted to access the safe without permission
-
You simply haven't changed it in years and want peace of mind

The original locksmith we called referred us to Old Glory Locksmith when they saw pics of the safe. Old Glory Locksmith actually was able to talk us through it over the phone and we were able to open the safe. Would highly recommend.Posted on Google MaryAnn DahlTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My husband called late at night after he realized he lost the camper key. Cory made it faster than expected out to Tonopah and was very quick in getting the door unlocked. Very professional and friendly. Highly recommend and fair/honest prices.Posted on Google Pat ClausTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Recently received a safe from a family member. Combo they gave us didn’t work, though they told us it was correct and it always worked for them. Found Old Glory Locksmith online. Perfect 5 star rating with tons of positive reviews. Before setting up an appointment he walked us through some trouble shooting on the phone. Turns out combo was correct just direction of turns were reversed. We felt stupid. Cory was awesome (didn’t even laugh at us) and since it only took 5 minutes on the phone, didn’t charge us though we offered to pay. We certainly understand Old Glory’s 5 star rating…well deserved.Posted on Google Christine OrtegaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My safe was recently purchased used and, shortly after arriving home with it, the dial started to get very stiff and almost frozen. I called multiple brick-and-mortar locksmiths for diagnostic & repair advice. Every single one told me I'd be better off to junk my safe & but another one. I reached out to Cory through Facebook as a last ditch effort, only for him to tell me that not only did he think he could repair it, he was also mobile & would come to me! He was able to repair my safe in less than an hour, and for far less money than it would've cost me to buy a new one! Cannot recommend this company more, what a terrific job!Posted on Google Jason MazeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Cory was very professional, full of knowledge, and very punctual. He was able to get the job done in a timely manner. Highly record Old Glory locksmith. Thank You!
